I want to buy a second 5770 does the 2010 mac pro have a spare 6pin cable to connect a second graphic card or do i need to buy a cord, ive searched on mroogle but couldnt come up with answers about a 2010 mac pro only 2008 ones

The Mac version (5770) from Apple comes with a cable you don't need to buy the cable.

my friend is dumping his pc version for cheap cause i need a second gpu when im bootcamped is there a place i can acquire one?

OWC sells them for 19.95 here is the link http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Apple/9227128/ but I have read in a thread here in MR that other vendors sell it for 9.95. I hope this will help you.
