Sony's VAIO website has a “lounge (http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/LC_ViewPage-Start?isurl=true&basetemplate=/lc/base/lc_hf.isml&page=static/lc/vaio/lounge/lounge.isml)” where one can go to learn more about VAIO computers, the VAIO lifestyle, or something stupid like that.

What kind of computer does the gentleman appear to be holding? It sure looks like a Titanium PowerBook.

I asked Sony—while feigning interest in a purchase—and the response was


It is unable to find out the exact model number of the Sony VAIO notebook that you are referring to in the forwarded page. However, I feel it might be one of the T series VAIO notebooks. I suggest you opt for the VGN-T170P/L Sony VAIO notebook, which is a high-end notebook in the T series notebooks currently showcased at Sonystyle.com.


Perhaps the “T” stands for Titanium?

HAHA. I see this all the time! This is because of all of the ad companies know that Apple computers looks good. Kinda like sex-a-peal sells clothes and other stuff.

Well spotted, that is obviously the TiBook. I love the response from Sony as well, reckon they're going to take it down?
