I am trying to load a Windows program from DirecTV to watch movies on my iMac.
http://www.directv.com/directv2pc
The s/w installation errors out at the end of the routine " Install DirectX9 or above"
I assume Parallels v:5.0 is not v:9.0 of DirectX !
Is there a source to update DirectX to v:9.0 in Parallels 5?
What version of DirectX is in version Parallels6?
Anyone have any luck installing this DirecTV application?
TIA
UPDATE : Info found at DirecTV

The Parallels Desktop application does indeed support you using a Bootcamp partition as a virtual machine disk within the Parallels application. In fact, there are two ways you can hook in the Boot Camp partition, either as a bootable vm, or as a secondary hard disk on another WinXP vm (that is, as disk "D:" or similar).
