digital media readings (theory and practice).

I am currently studying for my MFA in visual art with a specification in digital media. I work in video/animation, interactivity, digital imaging and print (I know that it is a wide range, blame it on my design/geek background). I was curious if there were any avid readers here, specifically in any of those topics. I am looking to build a reading library for my degree, specifically in the theory, practice and or, even about specific artist that may discuss that topic(s).

So far, after many hours of searching through amazon, I seem to be only pulling up "how to" books or 100 dollar + priced books without any reviews. If any of you have read or could recommend artist/authors/publications that may pertain to any of those topics, please recommend.
