iPod touch Tether Wifi from iTouch to another device

Okay so I would like to know if there a solution to tethering wifi from the ipod touch to another device (i.e. laptop or PS3).

I am sure a bunch of you are thinking why would you want to do that, those devices have wireless cards too so I'll explain.

Clear wireless is available in my area and they sell an iSpot (a hotspot for 'i' - devices from apple, ipad, ipod, iphone). The hotspot can be hacked but it looks too risky and not so promising. So my goal is to get the ispot (unlimited 4g data) and have it feed wifi to my itouch and then tether from my itouch to my laptop etc.

Is it possible? and is it possible without jail breaking?

What if I used an iphone 3GS that was unlocked (but no AT&T service). would it be possible then?

and the general you are going to have to spell out what you mean. I don't think the ispot connects to a mac.... I much rather have the clear ispot for $25 a month over a clear hotspot for $45 a month (http://www.clear.com)
