I installed Corel Painter 11 in the 13" MacBook Air today from a remote iMac's slot load SuperDrive. It didn't take very long at all.
As for Finder copies, it took me twice as long to copy the "Extras" folder from the remote SuperDrive to the MacBook Air as it did to copy the same folder from the local SuperDrive to the internal iMac HDD.
Maybe I don't need the optional USB external SuperDrive. What do you guys think?
