Well, I have found our the coolest thing... If you have a Beer Cap and put it on Your PB 12" G4 on the Right Side of the Palm-rest and maneuver it the right way the Magnet from the HD will take that Lid for quite a spin on the PB, VERY FAST... This is simply a cool thing I found out... Has anyone ever know it could even do that?

Yeah, thats true... Well, I was just playing with a beer bottle lid and when it when flying I thought it was very nifty... I mean lets be honest you don't see something that cool you can show your other nerd friends at a "LAN-Party" or what not.

BTW, and iPod does this too, how'st ever it is hard to get to spin, but it will stay magnetically attached for some time.

Many years ago, was at my first job out of college and working late. The boss and I were enjoying a few beers and as I went to take a drink it hit the edge of the laptop screen and flipped over and went right into the keyboard...fried the whole thing.

The good news is that was during the time that Apple was having problems with the new PowerBooks (it was a 140 or 160, I can't remember) so they fixed it under warranty with no questions asked and my job was saved.

So if you are going to try this, be sure the beer is FAR, FAR away. :D

In case anyone is collating empirical data, a slightly bent Kronenburg 1664 cap does NOT spin on a Powerbook 15 :)

Ditto for a Leffe Blond cap on a Pismo. Question: Is it the cap, or is it another reason to upgrade? :D
