I know that other have asked this but I really cannot find a solution and it is driving me nuts. I cannot get iTunes to see my iPhone when trying to connect the Apple Remote app. I am on the same WIFI network, have check the box to look for iPhones etc.., no Firewall block that I can see.

What else could be the problem? Is there any security setting on the phone itself that I need to set?

I have tried deleting and re-instaling the app, rebooting my MBP. Nothing works.

  • iTunes 10
  • iPhone 4
  • 2010 MBP

Any help really appreciated

iTunes 10 uses home sharing. It will not show up to work the 4 digit number.

Turn on home sharing on your computer and you will be all set
