All,

I have searched the threads and google but could not find a proper solution. I have transfered my .avi files to my Ipad through VLC. However, when I play them, the video and background noise works fine but I can not hear the audio of the voices and people talking.

Does anyone know of a solution?

Thanks!

It's probably the files' fault. They're probably using a weird codec.

I'm having the same issue with a movie I put on my iPad, no idea how to fix it but ImperialX is probably right.

Surround sound

Doesn't really help much, but I read that it happens when a vid has been encoded with surround sound.
