The thick of it
Years ago when I was a PC guy, the best multi-track program on the market (IMO) was faSoft's n-Track. But it was PC only, tied to DirectX. Well, it's just been released for Mac and is currently a free beta. If you're unfamiliar with it, it's worth checking out:
