App Store Requires WiFi?

I've been using the TetherMe (iPhone4)-iTether bluetooth solution for weeks on my iPad. I can access the Internet just fine, however as of this morning, I can't connect to the App Store via the TetherMe-iTether connection. It reports it needs a WiFi connection.

Is there a Cydia app that fools applications into thinking a BT connection is actually WiFi? Kind of like the My3G application.
