I am noticing that my maxed out MBA is struggling with running 720p/1080p videos on Youtube. It'll play the video clips but not without some jerkyness. I thought the MBA could handle flash videos. The mac is updated with the newest flash driver. I get the same sluggish performance on Win 7 (IE8) and Mac OS X (Safari). Anyone else experiencing the same thing or? Any suggestions?

I have noticed similar issues with my 11.6" Macbook.

Do you have a 11.6 or 13.3" MBA?
What CPU speed?
I posted my results on another link.

Flash video + Safari = 30%+ less battery. Install the click to flash plugin, it will search and play the HTML5 versions of the videos and add hours to your battery.

If there is something you find that only plays in flash format you can simply click on it to allow it to play. Flash running full time will load every ad, video, sound etc and eat your battery.

can you provide a link to the video you're having trouble viewing?

Would you need to install Adobe flash before installing click to flash?

FlashBlock is a similar plugin for Firefox.
