iPhone Remote Application and volume

I really love the iPhone Remote App, I use it exclusively for my Apple TVs. The one thing that drives me nuts its the volume. It would be great to be able to use it to control that.

I have 4.2 installed and noticed something curious. While AirPlay is only audio right now, when using AirPlay the volume rockers on the side of the iPhone control the volume on the Apple TV. Im hoping this will be changed to be available in the App as well. It makes life much easier! :p

I understand the convenience, but I think the argument in the past is that other devices that provide content to your TV, like VCRs and DVD players, don't have volume controls either. You control the volume at the TV with those devices, and I think they're trying to be consistent with the :apple:TV.
