As promised, I did say that I would let you guys know when I finally got my white conversion parts from UK company, iphonefixed.co.uk.

Parts received..

White front complete
White back complete
White Home Button
White Headphone Jack

I also have a white dock connector sourced elsewhere which is genuine OEM Apple stock.

The arrived well packaged, and in their own boxed, with hard foam packaging.

I'm currently uploading a video shot of the unboxings, and overview of parts, but below I have added several photos of said parts as promised. The quality of all parts, look, and feel superb, and the front lcd backing looks to be OEM to me, let me know what you think.?

Front camera, and flash de fusser.

All of my photos in Extra Large size can be found here on flickr.

I will add the link to my Youtube video once its completed uploading.

I'm very interested in hearing from you guys who have sourced these parts elsewhere, especially if you noticed any differences between any of these parts I have from iPhonefixed.co.uk

Also would be great to hear from anyone else who is considering the conversion, be it by themselves, or getting a company to carry out the conversion for you.

I will keep this thread alive with updates as and when I carry out the conversion, detailing any complications, should there be any, and of course sharing my experiences in carrying out the conversion too.

Have you uploaded the video yet? I want to see how you got it all :)

Its uploaded, but processing, the first upload failed, so had to reduce the size of it, I accidentally recorded it in full HD initially.

As soon as its finished, I will add it here.

Wait a minute.....Just had a thought after seeing these pictures. If they have replacement headphone jacks and replacement dock connectors.....that's where the water sensors are, right?? I'm seeing a quick fix for an accidentally tripped water sensor!

It does feel of superb quality, and has some weight to it too. The first ting I will be testing tomorrow/Wednesday when my iPhone 4 arrives, is the back, and the flash. I do however plan to make a shield to stop light bleeding from the flash. This will be made with black electrical tape.

Wow just wow!! Everything looks well packed and great quality. Can you clarify something for me? When you get a backplate or the original piece does the diffuser have a small metal ring in it? It looks that way on my original apple backplate but I'm not sure. Is it just a small plastic diffuser or is there two parts ie a metal ring and the small diffuser itself?

Thanks for the video :)

how much can you typically get for a digitiser/backplate/homebutton etc?

if i do it, i want to have my black parts back so i can sell them on (providing i can make more than the £80 that is charged from iphonefixed)

I remember you saying about using black tape to make the flash not come through the backplate. Please put up some pictures if you do it!

I did my home work, and researched extensively in the aim of getting the better parts, and I was prepared to pay the right price for the right parts. I could of got the whole kit much cheaper, but then I know for a fact I would not of been happy at the end of the day. I, like many of you are, a perfectionist, and OCD when it comes to details on my gadgets:)

If you bought all that stuff... Why did you buy a black iPhone and not just the logic board and the rest of the parts needed to build it? I'm sure it would have just been cheaper to do that.
