I am in the market for a B&W Power Mac G3 (preferably Rev. 2) or a Power Mac G4 (preferably a Yikes!). I don't need any RAM, a HD, an optical drive, a video card or even a ZIF processor. All I really need is a case with a working logic board, a working power supply and all heatsinks and other small parts that I didn't mention. Can anyone help me out? Let me know.

I don't have one, but your best bet would be eBay, things like that pop up all the time.

That's what I thought, but I just want to see what people have around here first. I'm hoping that there's someone out there who has one sitting in a closet after they upgraded to a G5 or something.

I almost forgot to mention that I can trade an original 802.11b AirPort card and cash to pay for this. If you don't want the AirPort card, then I can give you just cash. However you want it.

I have a "barebones" beige one that I would be happy to part with. Would this help you? Everything works great except the hard drive.

Well, the one I need to replace is a beige. I will be taking all of the upgrades and parts out of that. Thanks for the offer, though.

I have a PowermacG4 AGP Graphics that I have heavily upgraded over the years with some HDs, video cards and ram. It's got a 60GB in there now, but it has space for 4 ATA or 3 SCSI drives. I upgraded it with a Radeon 8500 64MB Mac Edition and 512MB of ram. If you want it you can have my Radeon PCI also. This lets you drive 3 desktops and up to 5 displays. The PCI card's fan makes more noise than it should, but it runs fine. I'm sure if you wanted to you could replace the fan with a PC part pretty cheap. It was my main machine for a long time and I never wanted to part with it. Used it for video editing mostly. Your choice of black or white Apple Pro Keyboard and it has a Black Pro Mouse. It has a built in DVD drive and an external firewire 24/10/40 CD-RW drive. Runs OSX 10.3.7 without issue.

edit: Oh and it has an internal ZIP100 drive.

If you're looking for a machine to crank up in performance this one handles the nice new G4 upgrade cards, and can hold 2GB of PC100 ram.

Right now, I am seriously looking at a Rev. 2 B&W G3 for $100 on another site. If anyone can beat this offer let me know.

Would you be willing to put a LB into a B&W Case, cause I might have found one on a site.
