I just bought one of these upgrades for the G4.

I had to do a firmware patch before installing the processor, which easy as well to do.

This one is working very well. But, i'm having a problem when booting OS9. When booting, after loading every INITs, the mouse freezes. I installed everything which was required to boot in os9

Even after disabling every extensions exept the cpu upgrade extension and booting os9 from an external device, the mouse freezes anyway.

So this isn't an hardware problem, and don't looks like a problem with the system folder, so what is it?

every awnsers will help:)

Have you thought of the hard drive nerf with OS 9.2.2? How do you have those drives partitioned? if you are over the see-able limit for os 9, it does not matter about hardware configurations. You will be pwned on boot up.. I know the limit is 128gig's with the right firmware upgrades and what not. However if you are looking to boot into 9.2.2 on that mac I would format and keep the os partition to 4 gigs or less.
