I have for sale my Powermac G5 @ 1.8Ghz and 20" Cinema screen. This is the G5 from the original lineup, not the one they offer now for $1500. The Cinema screen is the ADC version and in in flawless condition.

The Powermac's specs are as follows:
1.8 Ghz
1gb ram upgradeable to 8gb
2x 160gb sata drives for a total of 320gb of harddrive space
52x cd-rw drive
It will come with a fresh install of panther as well as all original cds and box.
Price:$1750

The 20" cinema is the plastic ADC version, and as the best to my knowledge has no dead pixels. It is in amazing condition.
Price: $800

Prices do not include shipping. If you would like to buy both together the price will be $2575. If you have any questions feel free to send me an email at zachmagid@gmail.com

You could try your local craig's list. Something so bulky, fragile, and expensive lends itself much better to an in-person exchange versus a purely electronic transaction.

To sell it here, I would really push to sell the screen and display separately, and possibly go as far as to unbundle some of the components within the G5 itself. You could sell some of the pieces off and try to recoup some of your investment that way (second hard drive, extra RAM, etc.). Although your specs are impressive and the machine is clearly a powerful rig, I think a lot of people will have a hard time getting past the single processor.

Your best bet would be to bring the specs of the G5, or the G5/display combo, to a point where you would be comfortable selling the computer at or near the current price of the new single G5's, but still giving the potential buyer a bit more bang for their buck than they would receive from a brand new system. That way you are targeting those who are already considering a system such as yours.

You have a great machine there and I wish you the best of luck in your sale!
