Not quite sure what that's all about, but it's sort of cool. A little bit of "iPods will take over the world" + hip apathy + LSD.

The how-to for converting the normal iPod into an iPod shuffle yesterday was better. ;)

Weird. But I wouldn't mind having one of those rolling iPod suitcases! I wonder if there's a market for those?

Armando Iannucci is a genius. :)

He came up with my favourite joke ever:

Q: What's big and small at the same time?
A: A big egg.

The programme that iPod sketch came from was brilliant. That was the oddest part of it though, no question!

I liked the iPod control on the pelican crossing - I wonder whether being able to choose a track to hear while the green man appeared might actually encourage people to use crossings rather than leaping out through traffic 20ft from the lights...

Down here, in the land of neverending weird weather (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. IT HAILS IN SUMMER! It bloody rains on 30c degrees days!), there is a gallery with a painting that is white ona white canvas. It sold for thousands. "Real Art" it was called.

There is no more Art these days. It's whoever has charisma. That stuff sucks if it's being used for a stupid reason.

Aah! Everything's an iPod or iPod derivative! This is what happens when the iPod becomes too successful.

the ipodification of the universe as we know it :D

bizarre and the music they chose was a great counter to most of the adds Apple does. Its almost as if it was a drug induced dream....might have even started out that way.

The music is the first track off Brian Eno's "Ambient 1: Music for Airports". It's a really cool album - ambient without that new agey stuff, and Eno's theories behind the music make for interesting reading. I've heard they actually tried to play it in airports as background music, but it didn't fly :D.

This sketch is very very very similar to the work of Chris Morris - who has himself often worked closely with Armando Iannucci.

If you like this, I recommend the 'Jam' DVD and the radio show it was based on Blue Jam (http://chilled.cream.org/forums/bluejam.php). Very odd stuff, but worth it in my eyes.
