Will be upgrading the RAM and HD. I know apple sells various hardware upgrades but I guess I'm hardly limited to what they sell.

Q:
-The FSB is @ 800Mhz so I assume I can get RAM at that speed?
-Can install better HDD than the ones origionally offered?

1. RAM: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/MacBook/DDR2/ or http://www.newegg.com or any other vendor you like, that offers PC-5300 DDR2 667MHz SO-DIMM 200 Pin RAM.

2. Any 2.5" S-ATA HDD with a maximum height of 9.5mm, which gives you up to 750GB right now.

Look into your User Guide on how to do this, or Apple, or http://www.ifixit.com
