Converting Outlook to iCal

So I've successfully converted my friend from PC to Macs. Thank God. He's a real estate agent, and has been using outlook on his Vaio for a long time. He wants to export his calendar and contacts (and hopefully notes) to go on his new MBP.

I've done quite a bit of searching, but I can't come up with anything at all. Some of the things I have found involve going to the calendar in outlook, then going to file, save as. But on his computer 'save as' is grayed out. I'm stuck and have no other options. It's driving me mad. Help please!!!!

I saw that in one of my searches. It looks extremely complicated. I was hoping someone might have an easier method that I could use!
