burning a DVD

I'd like to burn a dvd with some of my good photos & put them to music using iDVD, If I give the finished dvd to someone are they able to make copies or steal my photographic images?
 
Yep, that's pretty much the case
There are probably ways to make it more difficult, but not impossible
