cydia crashing :(

just restored/jailbreak/unlock my iphone 3g 3.1.2 with blackra1n
opened blackrain app download cydia.
after opening cydia it download if not mistaken packages or updates
it gave me an error and upon pressing ok it said reloading data it took a while after doing so it went back to home screen and upon clicking cydia to install installous after "loading data" screen cydia crashed.. help help help:mad:

I am re-jailbreaking for the fourth time to try to fix this. This time I am going to try and not let it upload updates and see what it does.
I'll let you know:confused:

The answer is not to use blackra1n.

use redsn0w.

can i use redsnow even if i am already jailbreaked? do i have to do a system restore? if so does redsn0w offer hactivate?:confused:
