I bet your thinking gawd another newb,and yes your right.Long story short i paid money to have my phone fixed and they didn't so i tried and you guessed it i made it worse,an ideas how to revert back i basiclly have no idea what to do but make it worse lol.....

What do you mean they messed it up?
What iphone model you have? What are you trying to do just downgrade back to 3.1.2 from 4.1 or Jailbreak and unlock it also?

Yes i was having them downgrade from 4.0 and something didnt go right,so i upgraded to 4.1 not thinking and need to figure out how to go back to 3.1 ish and unlock and jailbreak......

run the application forecast that Applejuiced gave you so we know what bootloader you have (the app will tell you) to see if you can downgrade the baseband so you can be unlocked again...
