Yep, 1 core = 100%, 2 cores = 200%, 4 cores = 400%, etc...

It's confusing at first and I'm not sure why they chose to show CPU usage this way instead of just 100% of total usage. An old version of Safari won't help, online games and video will make your computer run hot under any browser, especially if they use Flash.

thanks guys for the fast info. did not know that about the cores and stuff.
anyway ill try the old version. again and i might give this click2flash a go i have that on my nokia n900 and its handy for surfing the web on my celly.
