Hi guys,
I thought there would be lots of threads on this but after searching can only find ones that relate to YouTube.

Are there any programs for Mac that will enable me to rip video off the net such as ITVPlayer or BBCiPlayer here in the UK?

Here's an example

Could i capture that footage at all somehow and convert it to a decent quality MPEG 4 or similar?

It's probably got some protection on it so I won't hold my breath, I'm making a website of popular TV clips that's all and the web is the best place to source stuff.
Thanks :)

BBC's own iPlayer download facility gives you a time-limited file - that needs to check the date online to enable playback (and eventually expire).

The independent iPlayer Downloader doesn't - the files are "normal" MP4s - but it's continually being broken (deliberately, probably) by the BBC iPlayer site changes.
