creating a disc image

how does one create a new disc image using disc copy from various files?

i tried creating a new blank image and then transferring the files to that. but i kept getting errors...

is that the way to go and i'm just doing something wrong?

Well, as far as I know, you need to create a folder, put everything in there and then create the image.

I create disc images only. You have the other parameter like "compress information", "read only image", etc.

Usually you can do what you described, jello. What are the specific errors?

You might also try creating an image from a folder, as mymemory described.

the error was in some of the files i was trying to add to the image....
