Installed this afternoon and works beautifully on iPhone and iPad.

Me too. Hp 1012 is hooked up to my AEBS, shared with a windows machine and my macs. Worked well with the ipad.

Works great. Installed a week or so ago. Printing from iMac to Brother 5250DN just fine.

Works like a charm with my random lexmark

Works with all my printers.

Epson Stylus CX8400

Works on my HP PSC 1600.

Works great on HP workforce 500 connected to 2007 mac mini. I've only tried on iPad running unjailbroken 4.2.1.

I just used it for my Brother HL-2040 laser printer with no issues at all.

airprint hacktivator

prints wirelessly on brother HP-4070 and my canon pixma 4600 hooked up to my imac

Works on my HP Photosmart C7280. Even prints photos from the iPad.

Works fine with my HP Deskjet 1560.

Works great with my Brother 2170W.

Just printed successfully from my Photosmart C4385. Why in the world did they disable this?

Same printer here. Installed Hacktivator, it worked for one test print, perfectly, then I tried printing last night after Software Update prompted me to update my HP drivers, and now it won't print. Anyone else have this happen?

install on Ipad

how do I install the hacktivator on my ipad???

It installs on a Mac and allows your iPad (running 4.2.1) to print to your network printers. See link in post #1.

Theoretically this should work on any printer that has drivers for OS X.

Try deleting the printer object and re-adding it. I had to do that to initially get AirPrint to work. Maybe the updating of the drivers caused the printer object in OSX to be reset to not sharing.

I implemented this on my Mac Mini 2.4Ghz C2D (which is on all the time)

Canon:
MP150 (connected via USB)

HP
Laserjet 6P
Photosmart D7260

My wish is that this would work without needing a Mac. The two HP printers I have are both network printers with static IP addresses (the 6P is using a parallel-to-ethernet adapter). Would be nice to be able to print directly to them without having this hack work around.

I almost bought one of the newer HP ePrint printers, but once I read about how I needed to print to it (sending an email to the printer), I decided to check out other options. Really happy with this solution, but would like it to go one step further and print direct without needing a Mac.
