I now have a MobileMe account setup so that I can more simply do a few things between my two Mac and iPhone. One thing I am unsure of though and have not found a definitive answer for is....

When I reconfigure my MacMail to use MobileMe and enable the sync what will happen to existing local mail? Will it be removed, updated, what?
Each device right now has a different set of local mail (part of the reason for MobileMe and sync) what will showup when all this sync stuff is setup and working? I don't want to lose any emails.

Thanks for the help!!

MobileMe does not sync email, so all email stored locally will stay wherever it currently is.

In order for email to be seen everywhere it has to reside on the server. Once you have your MobileMe email account set up you can copy/move your locally stored email to the account (which will move it to the server) and it will now be visible everywhere.
