iPod Classic, usage question

Hi, is there a way to simply go to the currently playing song from the menu, when you're for instance viewing something else on the ipod?

I often find I need to turn down the volume a bit but since I'm somewhere deep in the menu I have to tediously navigate to the currently playing song.

Surely there must be a better way to do this on the "best music player in the world".. :confused:

Hmmm, I don't actually think that there is. Instead of navigating back slowly, you can hold the center button to go straight to the main menu, and then go to "Now Playing." A bit shorter if you're deep in something else.

Did your computer prompt you on any software updates for your iPod when you open iTunes?

My iPod is up to date.

If you hold the menu button it will go back directly to the main menu (not the center button)
