So how many macs do you own.

I got my first mac in 1995 (Performa 580)
I then got a G3 PB in 1998 (Mainly as it was my work machine but I had to take it home to do "WORK" ;)
Early 2000 got an Original iBook
Late 2000 I brought an iMac DV 400 (Lime if you are interested)
Early 2001 got given an iMac DV 400 (Strawberry) Sold later on in the year so I Could go on Holiday (I went to Australia again if interested and visited Apple Aust)
Mid 2001 got a Cube now using as a web/mail server
Late 2001 got a PB G4 400.

And over the years I got an SE30 and I built a working 7300/180 from dead machines

Profile. (3)

My father has a PowerMac and PowerBook (both latest G3 models) at home, and a late G3 at his store. I think he has a slower 33MHz computer there, but I haven't been up there in a while.

Zero :(

I was going to buy the tibook for fall semester, and now with all the talk about updates in september and october, I decided to wait and see. I want a better graphics card (64 MB) and DDR, and hopefully a 1 GHz processor. I'd be content with that system for years...so hopefully I'll be rewarded for my wait.

I do have a desktop (200 MHz) and a laptop (550 MHz) PC though...:o

Well here's what I have:

OTHERS:
PowerCD (part of it)
Apple StyleWriter 2400 (hardly works half the time, it's wierd)

COMPUTERS:
Macintosh Classic
Macintosh 512k and an old Modem, Printer and 2 Floppy Drives for it, and the bag for it :) I got it for 20 bucks at an Flea Market
Power Macintosh 7500/100 AV in
Power Macintosh 7300/80 with 3 monitor ports :)
Macintosh IIcx (My dad's first mac, doesn't work currently)
Macintosh IIci IT HAS ETHERNET! LOL :D
Performa(s) (forgot number) I might have 2 but I use it for parts.
Performa or Quadra Tower (just the case, forget exact name)
Power Macintosh 6100
Quadra 660 AV (for parts, worked but puting it into new case)
Powerbook Duo 230 (2) I sold one, the other is for parts
Powerbook Duo 270c (screen broke, swaped HD with the 230 and sold 230)
Powerbook 540c (screen broke and now the monitor out port is loose)
PowerMac G4 Tower AGP 450 mhz (its my dad's current mac) 2 HDs one 20GB and on 80GB, has Zip and DVD
iMac Graphite 500mhz DVD Special Edition (forget rest) Bought it from CompUSA but it didn't work, the screen didn't wanna turn on most of the time, I installed OS 9.2 and OS X on it but then we returned it, it wasn't worth $800 bucks when it didn't work half the time, I miss it, it had the pro keyboard and mouse :D I deleted my only picture of it by mistake... :(

MONITORS:
Apple Studio Display 21 inch (for G4)
Apple MultiScan Display 17 inch (for 7500)
Apple MultiScan Display 14 inch (for 7300)
Apple RGB Color Monitor 12 inch (don't think it works :()
Apple RGB Color Monitor 13 inch (used for Macintosh IIci and IIcx)

Now my pride and joy, my little iBook Key Lime Special Edition! It's packed with FireWire, DVD, 320MB RAM, 8MB Video RAM (I think) and soon to come a 40GB HD to replace my full 10GB HD, I have an external Maxtor 76GB HD (FireWire) The screen cracked but I got it fixed. :) Apple wanted like $800 for the repiar but, I got it online for about $300.

Thats it, but I wanna get a old B&W G3 TOWER, for my Photoshop work, I need a big screen to do work on. I hope to ad more :)

I currently have a PM B&W G3 350, the iBook 700 and just bought the DDR 867. I guess this was what the poll asked.
For the fun of it, I have had:
Apple IIe
Mac Plus
Mac SE/30 (I think the greatest mac ever in terms of performance jump)
The Duo 230 with dock (also a great little computer, loved it)
Mac IIsi, I think this was the name of it, (greatest piece of crap ever).

And I think Apple is such a great part of my life - no. no exaggerations, I love it. No PC will ever enter my home !!!

..............I mean i'm not exactly a millionaire........ and I have plenty of computing power already .....especially on the PC side........ but ........ I couldn't resist. I just added 1 more Mac to my portfolio. I picked up a Dual 1Ghz Powermac and a 19in? Formac Monitor. ....too good to pass up, last one they had at some small online store..... all the major retailers have been out of the Dual G4 quicksilvers for over a week! Best thing of all is it's $1000 less then what Apple was asking for it just a month ago......plus I'm not exactly sad that I won't have to look at the new Powermac's case! Quicksilver looks much better then the new model.......

Classic II - got it from a friend a couple of months ago.

Powermac 7100. Replaced my performa 630.

iMac 400/dv - wich i'm gonna trade in and buy a eMac. Ineed the speed for videoediting and I don't have money enough for a tower or a flat iMac.

My first love is a performa 630. I sold it to a friends brother years ago but I'm gonna buy it back someday.

he he he...that is so awesome to see u guys not only getting your first Macs...but to be getting them from General Cybernetics! :D

as for my Mac collection:
1) Rev. B 667 TiBook
2) PowerMac 8500
3) PowerMac Workgroup Server 8550
4) Starmax 4000/200 (clone of the 4400)

I only really use my TiBook (naturally) for everyday use as well as freelance work. The Starmax is currently at Macrosoft's place being used for extended game play. The 85xx boxes are sitting in my bedroom, waiting to get taken apart and forged into one working server for backup purposes. ;)

Well, i thought i had a problem with my stock of Dinosaurs, but it seems i'm waaaaayyyyyy behind some Mac-users !

Currently in stock: LC, Classic II, Centris 610, PB 3400 c, PM 4400.
I sold my first Apple IIe some 10 years ago... :(

Nowadays, i especially use the 3400 and 4400, both connected to ADSL. It IS nice to have two computers side by side for working on different tasks, especially when installing stuff (and crashing...).

I'll get a G3/400Mhz upgrade soon for the 4400, and hope to have a REAL Tower before next year - then turning the 4400 into my server, and the 3400 into my living-room MP3 player :)

For the rest, i don't know. I remember seeing one a MacPlus turned into an aquarium... :D

Wow, I saw this thread and figured it wasn't going to surprise me, but it did. I'm really impressed by the number of members who have more than 5 machines - wow.

I only have two. Someday there will be a 3rd and probably more, but I'm waiting for the next gen of PowerMacs....
