It works fine when I'm working with the MBA on a desk or just sitting down like normal.

But then, when I decide to lie down to surf the web and the MBA is propped up where the screen is parallel to the ground, the Wi-Fi drops and sometimes I get it back.

Anyone else have this odd issue of the MBA Airport not being able to find a signal or at maintain a connection when changing positions on the vertical plane?

MBA 13.

Try deleting plists from Mac HD/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and reboot.

My WiFi used to drop randomly but after deleting those plists, it hasn't.

The .plists will be recreated when needed. You will loose the things that are in them like remembered networks, and stuff, nothing really important. If you want to see what's in there open the files op and read them.
