Am surprised that no one has started a thread on the newly released Google Books for iPad! 
It's AWESOME!!!
I love the ability to view books in scanned mode, books in their original formatting, so to speak. It beats ePUB, because of that. Now, Google Books is my preferred eReader.
Also tried the PDF file of a book(book in its scanned mode) in Goodreader. The performance there is not on par with Google Books. Goodreader used to be a VERY good PDF reader, but not any more with the latest updates.
Two things I wish for:
1. being able to bookmark in scanned mode
2. showing info on the size of the downloaded book, especially if it is in the scanned format.
