Usually I use and sync my iPod with my Windows PC.

I decided to connect it to my MacBook Pro to see if I could sync one song in particular. So I opened up iTunes, and after connecting it I was told that I could only sync from one Library at a time. So I was given the option of erasing my entire iPod and syncing. Obviously I didn't want to do that, so I just hit cancel. Was any damage done to my iPod because of this?, or I should still be able to sync in my other windows PC right?

Also, I noticed that while my iPod was connected to my MacBook Pro, the hard drive activity was noticeably louder. But when I ejected it, after a few seconds that sound stopped. Any issues there? Only change I've seen so far is the song's in my playlists changing order.

No damage was one. I often charge my iPhone from my MBA even though it's synced with my iMac
