The blue Dropbox icon is on my desktop and I cannot remove it. Cannot open Dropbox either. If I try to delete it I get a message which says
The item"Dropbox" can't be moved to the trash because it's open.
It does not appear in the Force Quit section either!

HELP!

Open Activity Monitor and try to force quit the process from there. Or, remove it from start up items in System Preferences > Accounts - Startup Items and reboot

:)
