Apple Set top box - Quick Question

How much are one of these things worth? I know that they're pretty rare, but I haven't seen anything on macrumors.

I'd say anywhere from 50 dollars to a full 500 or so, depending on condition, if everythings there, and if it works.

can you install Os8 or 9 on it, maybe linux?
