RedSn0w JB 4.2.1 Here; How to Restore w/ iTunes?

iTunes does not notice my iPad when connected.

In all honesty believe I can live w/o the JB till the GreenPoison version comes out...

and am wondering how to restore it?

I know this is a novice question, but I seem to be good at those. 😛

Even with the white cable pointing to iTunes logo on my iPad, when connected iTunes on my Mac shows nothing...nothing happens.

W/ RedSn0w it seems impossible to turn off the iPad away from the stale Apple logo, but during the past 2 hours have only been able to turn it off once, but with Redsn0w it always tells me I did it wrong and to look up on Google & YouTube on how to put the iPad in DFU mode.
