What is wrong with it? As far as I understand, a refurbished Mac is repaired Mac, thus it is okay now. And I can't see the proper reason for what was wrong with it in the first place.

Since it's refurbished nothing is wrong with it. Whatever the problem was it has been fixed. Apple doesn't say what the original problem was and it doesn't matter anyway. It could be anything from someone decided to return the computer to a dead logic board that was replaced, refurbished just means that Apple can't sell it as new but they fixed whatever was wrong with it.

here is what is wrong with it;

40 dollar price hike

2gb ram less

a 160gb hdd instead of a 320gb hdd

I purchased 2 of the above a few months ago. Come on apple give us a break! They sold the above refurb for 6 months. Now the holidays come and they offer this one below:

It was done so that you don't mod it with more ram and a bigger hard drive and that makes the new reburb cheaper. It also makes the mod more money than a new one , thus eliminating enterprise on ebay.

I agree with you tom

also the 2.53ghz 2009 mini is a better machine then the base 2.4ghz 2010 mini.
