Okay, so the other day, my friend spilled water on my macbook screen. No big deal, I swapped out the screen with the screen from my friend's old macbook. Today, I tried replacing the hinge cover but some how screwed up my inverter because the prongs by the plug that connects to my actual computer (the one by the keyboard) came off the board. Then I took the inverter from my friend's macbook and put it in mine, since it was clearly broken... however I had no luck with this one either! The screen flickers bright for a second when I turn the mac on, but otherwise remains dark. What could cause this? I tried putting my friend's inverter back into her macbook, but had the same issue... is my macbook frying inverters? If so, why? what should I do? I am wayyyy past the macbook warranty and just want my macbook to work again!
