Kinda upset a third party company is upgrading old computers with the new Dual core processor before Apple incorporates it into their new computers. Thats kinda pissing me off. ohh that and my girlfriend is on the phone right now and pissing me off :eek:

i had to vent.

I think you are mistaken. The most recent announcement on the Giga Designs website is that there are introducing a dual-processor upgrade using the 7447A FreeScale CPU. This is not a dual-core chip. It's just a modified version of the G4 currently in use. If you look at the product pictures of the cards using these chips there are clearly 2 CPUs. The dual-core chips are not even sampling yet are they?
