just bought PB last week - do i have to buy iLife05/Tiger?

i just bought a powerbook last week and i'm just wondering whether apple has a policy of giving upgrades of iLife and/or OSX to customers who purchased close to release dates? i bought the powerbook locally from a reseller.

Tiger isn't expected for several months, so you will definitely have to pay full price for that.

iLife '04 should come with it; you can upgrade to iLife '05 by going to this page (http://www.apple.com/ilife/uptodate) on Apple's website. Click the link to the online order form on the right side, enter your serial number and the rest of the information, and you will have to pay $19.95. Depending on where you are located you may have to pay sales tax on that amount.
