Disable window expansion when you drag it to the edge of the screen?

This is so annoying. Sometimes when I'm resizing or moving a window I will touch it to the boarder of the screen and it MAXIMIZES the size and I cannot for the LIFE OF ME figure out how to disable this. Thanks.
 
To my knowledge that function is not a part of Mac OS X. If Window Snapping is what you are referring to. A few apps add this function, such as BetterTouchTool, or HyperDock. There are options in the app settings to turn this off.
