iTunes says ipad is synced with another computer but it isn't

Hi,
I've been syncing my iPad with my Windows 7 computer. One day I plugged it in and it says it is synced with a differenct iTunes library and wants me to Erase and Sync. Is there anyway to stop this and not have to erase my data?
