I have a macbook Pro. I have a 500GB External Hard Drive. I want to make a partition in FAT32 so I can back up my PS3. Is there a way I can do this by keeping what is on my external and creating a new partition for my PS3 backup?

Thanx.

Go look up Disk Utility.

(but if you are asking this question in the context of a jailbroken PS3, perhaps you should stop while you're ahead.) :p

partitions can be problematic, particularly when you're sharing a drive between two different platforms. maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. just buy another drive for the ps3 backups. drives are cheap.
