Probably nothing, but just wondering, does it really matter what Display Profile you choose? I have mine set to sRGB Profile simply because I like the colors better than the standard one.... will this shorten the length of the display at all in any way?

no, those settings shouldn't affect much. you should use whatever you feel comfortable...

btw, give supercal (available at versiontracker.com) a try. proper calibration does make a big difference - you get noticeably more "depth" in the color...
