Hi,

How do I setup the Ipad to access a local server's website?

1. For the server, the website is setup in IIS with the host header "develop.demo.com"

2. For PC and laptop in office, we add value in the hosts file:

192.168.2.6 develop.demo.com

3. How can I access develop.demo.com using Ipad when it is connected to the LAN without changing iPad hosts file?

Thanks.

You can't just bookmark 192.168.2.6?

192.168.2.6 is not accessible by all PC and laptop here.
We can only access using develop.demo.com, after change the hosts file.

I understand in iPad if we need to change the hosts file, we need to jailbreak.

Is there other way to access without jailbreak since the iPad belongs to the client?
