Hi All,
I have just bought (and impatiently waiting to take delivery of) a Dennon DX1000 Micro HiFi system. This system does not have an optical audio input, which is a bit of problem as my Apple TV only has optical out.
The most likely solution is buying a convertor for optical to RCA, they retail for around $70. But its yet more money to spend.
The Dennon has an Ethernet socket and can be connected to networks. Was wondering if I could connect the ATV and HiFi directly via the ethernet cable?
Just wondering if anyone has tried/succeeded with anything similar?
Cheers!
