Is $399 a good price for a refurb for the Apple 17" LCD? (here)
Is streaking/ghosting really bad on it? I read that it has a 40ms pixel response time which seems kind of high compared to e.g. the Formac 1740 (10ms to 25ms response time).
The price sounds pretty good to me. My problem would be only getting a 90 day warranty. I purchased a 17" LCD one year ago for my Power Mac G4, after my 17" Studio Displayed died. It works perfectly for me, no dead pixels, no problems incurred.
