iPhone can't find AirPlay

My iPhone 4 doesn't seem to find my Airport Express. I can stream from my MacBook Pro without any problems, but my iPhone doesn't give me the little AirPlay icon when listening to music. Everything's up-to-date (iPhone, AE). Any ideas?
 
If you aren't connected to the airport then you won't be able to use airplay. Both devices need to be connected to the same wifi router.
