It is in AMAZING condition, no dents, scratches/ very little discoloration on the plastic. It still works and the drive goes in and out. I have the original power cable and one scsi cable.

Manufactured Dec. 1995

A lot of high priced stuff will sit on ebay for weeks or months at a time.

Unless someone wants it no matter whay the price it will continue to sit there or the price will slowly tumble.

thanks, I just thought it might be worth something because this guy on ebay had one for $400+

Whaa?? That doesn't make any sense. The 600e was just a 4x internal CD-ROM drive wasn't it? Those are really nothing special other than it being SCSI. Heck, it can't even write discs. Wasn't trying to poop on your item but it just isn't worth much.

The only reason I know of for those drives being worth anything is if youre trying to install A/UX (for this very reason im glad I have internal Apple 300i and 600i Drives - I used the 300i to install A/UX 2.0 on a friends Quadra a few months back) - I wouldnt pay more than $20 for one, as I got my internal drives for less than that in my 8100 and 8200.
