my brother and i are sharing an account. basically, it's convenient for sharing pictures/movies with a few clicks.

Apple Learn & Earn is an incentive learning program specifically designed for individuals who sell, support, and recommend Apple solutions. Thousands worldwide are using the program to improve their sales success, learn more about Apple products, and earn recognition and rewards.

Any individual in the U.S.A., Canada, Latin America/Caribbean, or Asia Pacific who is currently employed by an Apple-authorized reseller or direct purchaser entity, or is a member of an organization whose members are authorized by Apple, can participate in the Learn & Earn program. This includes, but is not limited to, Apple-authorized resellers and distributors, wholesalers, VARs, Power Reps, Detailers, Product Specialists, Demo Day Reps, ASPs, and Apple Solution Expert members. Agreed - this is a skewed poll, completely ignores those of us who didn't rush out and get it immediately. The choices boil down to "I got it for free", "I didn't get it" and "I'm a drooling zealot who will give Apple however much they ask".

What about those of us who waited to see which way the wind was blowing, evaluated the likelihood of price reductions, etc. I upgraded to it sometime during August, my wife upgraded hers when they did the "extended until 30th Sept next year" thing. Both of us will will revisit our decisions next September, both of us have a gut feeling that Apple's going to offer another limited time $49 deal next year if they've not just made that the standard price by then :D

I'm getting mine soon, I went to my local apple store which is an apple reseller, so now I have to ring apple and see if I can get it without having a credit card
